The Nimsoft iPhone App provides support for the iPhone, iPad and iTouch to access a rich set of capabilities available from the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS). The Nimsoft iPhone App allows NMS customers to access any desired NMS alarm and performance information via a convenient app. From the application, users can execute alarm management functions (i.e. assign an alarm, acknowledge an alarm, etc.) directly from their Apple mobile device – providing remote access to these functions from anywhere in the world.
Additionally, NMS dashboards can also be accessed via the iPhone/iPad /iTouch – allowing NMS customers to view performance information via gauges, graphs and dials. Once a customer creates these views via the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring Portal, they can also view them directly via the NMS iPhone Application.
The Nimsoft iPhone App for Nimsoft also enables MSP’s to provide such access to their customers – as the app also supports multi-tenancy (similar to Unified Monitoring Portal (UMP)).
This application is not a standalone application – as it requires a functioning Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS) installation (version 4.3 or later) as well as the Nimsoft Unified Monitoring Portal (version 1.5). Lastly – there is also a Nimsoft web services component that needs to be installed onto the NMS server. This component is available from Nimsoft directly at http://support.nimsoft.com/
